Every phase of home construction builds on the one before it. The block is only as good as the slab beneath it, and the framing is only as good as the block it rests on. When one step is out of alignment, the problems compound throughout the entire build.

Many of the most common issues in new construction—such as uneven drywall, bowed walls, and rooms that aren't perfectly square—can often be traced back to mistakes made during the shell phase. We chose to build full custom homes as well as shells because our expertise in shell construction allows us to create a more accurate, higher-quality home from the very beginning.
